• Venue size and guest count, a wider stage and a longer entrance aisle both mean more material, full stop.
• Fresh flowers vs artificial, fresh floral walls cost more and don't last past the event, but they photograph and smell noticeably better.
• Cold fire or not, the entrance gadgets add a machine, operator time, and setup that a standard entrance doesn't need.
• In-house sound vs a rented system, only relevant if you're bundling DJ and sound into the same booking.

Where to spend if you're working with a tighter budget

If you can only make one thing look expensive, make it the stage backdrop and the entrance, those are what every guest sees and what ends up in the most photos.
