Neon signs, if you don't overdo them

A neon sign backdrop with hanging pink tassels works because it's a single strong focal point, not because it's covered wall to wall. The mistake we see people try to avoid is stacking a neon sign on top of a fully busy floral wall, pick one hero element and build the rest of the space around it.

Hanging marigolds and string lights for the ceiling

A Mehndi ceiling done with hanging strands and marigolds does more for the overall feel of a room than almost anything at floor level, most guests spend the night looking up as much as around, especially once the dancing starts. It's also one of the more efficient decor choices for the budget, since it transforms the whole room rather than one wall.

Orange and white is safe, here's how to make it feel less default

Orange and white florals are the go-to Mehndi palette for a reason, they photograph well against most outfit colors. Where couples make it their own is in the details: marigold garlands mixed with fresh white florals instead of one or the other, or a reference photo sent in ahead of time so we can match it closely rather than defaulting to a generic version.
